The Rally Tour is a rain or shine event. Please plan accordingly.

Join us for our Fall GetAway weekend exploring the Province of Quebec. We will drive on our own to the City of Montreal for our stay on Saturday night where we will have a welcome dinner and prepare ourselves for the Rally Tour to Quebec City on Sunday. After arrival in Quebec City, we will have our group dinner to unwind a little from exploring the Saint Lawrence Seaway and the drive over.

The drive on Sunday will be a little longer than our normal one-day rally tours but a comfortable drive. We are planning a morning break, lunch break and an afternoon break prior to arriving in Quebec City. This will be a little combination of some highways or highway type roads and some back roads to make the driving comfortable for the day. This will be about 170 miles to cover for the day.

For the hotels. We have located two Hampton Inns with reasonable pricing, which has been a challenge. We looked to stay in the famous Fairmount in Quebec City, but it just cannot make it work out.

For the arrival in Montreal, there is an option to arrive on Friday at the same hotel and rate. Please register for the early arrival night when you register. The added day will give you a little more time to explore the city and enjoy the local culture. So much to do, the added day will just give you a little taste.

For our visit to Quebec City, we have made arrangements for you to stay an extra night as an option, Monday night if you would like, for the same rate. Here again please register for this when you register. Quebec City is a great place to explore, and the extra time could help you explore the city for some greater details on your own.

Reservations must be made by July 20, 2024 in order to secure a room at our group rate.

This GetAway will be something a little different for us as we will be crossing the United States and Candain border. Please review the requirements for the crossing. You will need your passports to make this a little easier along with an insurance card for your vehicle. If you have any questions, please reach out to the Canadian Government. Once we have enjoyed our adventure through Quebec we will need to cross back into the United States. Please also be prepared for this.

Please check for the requirements you may have. The overall requirements for both ways are a valid passport, insurance card for your automobile and insurance card for yourselves. However please verify these requirements for yourselves to make sure you don’t have any issues crossing the border and returning.

These rallies fill quick, register soon to ensure your position. Once you register for the event, please complete your SpeedWaivers Quickly.

PCA still has not developed a method for SpeedWaviers for Minors, however we are going to work with the paper waiver for minors on this rally. We will be using the Paper Waiver “FOR MINORS AS OBSERVERS ONLY.”  A parent or legal Guardian must sign this waiver in front of us or have it witnessed prior and then the minor signs. This Waiver is available on the PCA web site and attached for your use.

Once you register and just prior to the event you will receive an e-mail package containing your driving instructions and the route map.  Please keep in mind these are general guidelines for our Rally Tour.  Due to changing weather, road construction and other events things could change.  The addresses for our break and lunch will be included.  If you get to lost, we can meet you there.

Please notify Rally Chair or one of the leads if you need to leave the event at any time.  If you leave the event at any time the PCA insurance stops.  The overall insurance starts when we leave after the drivers meeting and ends when we arrive for lunch.

If you have signed up for lunch or other activities, it is expected, you will join us.  One of the greatest challenges for planning these events is finding a place that will host us for lunch. We commit to them the head count that you provided at registration, and they are planning their staff and income based on this number.

If you register for the event, please be prepared to attend. If you need to cancel, (things do happen) please notify us so soon as possible. As much notice as you can provide gives us the opportunity to open your registration for another club member on the wait list.
